Daniel White is a highly accomplished mortgage loan officer and entrepreneur with a diverse background in electronics, information technology, and software development. After serving in the Marines as an electronics technician from 1990 to 1999, he entered the workforce in IT, working at a small company before joining Walt Disney World's IT team in 2000.
In 2004, Daniel started Perceptive Technologies, a software development company that focused on building software for other small businesses. However, the housing market crash of 2007 put the company out of business. Daniel then invented the No Mess Drain Plug, a product that helped people change their vehicle oil, which he sold online with great success. In 2016, he sold his No Mess Products business, which sold the No Mess Drain Plug and other complementary products.
That same year, a personal experience with a poor loan officer and bad real estate advice motivated Daniel to get his mortgage loan officer license and work in the field. He quickly discovered that there was a lack of sales training and teaching for loan officers, which led him to start Better Lending Team, a mortgage brokerage that focuses on teaching loan officers how to make real connections with referral partners and sell effectively. He also created the Better MLO software, which helps loan officers create success by calling the right people at the right times.
Daniel is married to his wife, whom he met while working at Walt Disney World, and they have two wonderful children. They enjoy racing hare scrambles and going on vacations and RV camping trips as a family. Daniel is also known for his fair, friendly, and personable demeanor and high ethics. He values doing the right thing, even if it costs him personally, and has a reputation for never meeting a stranger.
